N3 Noiseless Pickup

Today we have Fender N3 sound clips for the N3 noiseless pickups. Fender has made a nice series of YouTube videos that demo the sound of their pickups installed in an American Standard Stratocaster guitar. I’m going to post up two videos that highlight the sound of the Fender N3 Noiseless Pickups. I personally like the sound of these pickups and have been enjoying them in my American Deluxe Stratocaster. You can find more information about these pickups in my Fender Noiseless N3 Pickups Review.

Clean Amp Setting

The first clip is the sound of the pickups through a clean amp setting. The amplifier is a Fender Super-Sonic 22 combo and for the clean sound it is run through the Vintage channel with the EQ set flat.

Right from the start, you notice the clarity and presence of the guitar’s tone—no hum, buzz, or unwanted background noise—even during high-gain passages.

You’ll hear shimmering cleans, bright and articulate without harshness, as well as richer midrange and tighter lows. The pickups stay silent when idle, confirming their hum-canceling design. The N3s provide sonic transparency, preserving the Strat’s vintage character while delivering noise-free modern usability.

Dirty Amp Setting

The second clip is the sound of the N3 Noiseless pickups using a dirty tone. The amplifier is a Fender Super-Sonic 22 combo with the guitar running through the Burn channel using medium gain. The EQ is set flat.

From the opening note, you hear a crisp, articulate overdrive. The bridge pickup provides bite and definition without any hum or background noise. The tone stays clear even under gritty gain, with tight lows and flavorful midrange harmonics. The N3 set reveals its musical character under distortion, offering a more powerful and aggressive voice compared to Fender’s Vintage Noiseless or SCN models, yet retaining that classic single‑coil articulation

The video effectively showcases how the N3 pickups shine in a moderate gain context—preserving clarity and pick attack detail without getting muddy. Subtle string harmonics feel alive and responsive. Overall, it’s a convincing demo: these pickups deliver vintage‑inspired Spark and spank, now enhanced for noiseless modern use—ideal for players seeking authentic Strat tone with zero hum and extra aggression under drive.
