
As of January 2016 the Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster is discontinued. The new top-of-the-line American made Stratocaster will be the American Elite Stratocaster. The American Elite Stratocaster has all of the hot-rodded features of the American Deluxe line. The American Elite has the following high-end features:

- 4th Generation Noiseless Single Coil Pickups
- Locking Short Post Tuners
- Soft Touch Control Knobs
- Thumbwheel Truss Rod Adjustment System

- 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo

Like the Elite’s compound radius fretboard but hate the C to D neck. Don’t like the new truss rod adjustment either. Like the American Deluxe Strat much better.
